Nuts: An Insider Tip for Healthy Skin

by Verena Prantl |  | 1 comment

Snacking is desired! That's the motto for our superfood nut. Not only is it an ideal food option when you're rushing from one appointment to the next, but nuts also supplies our body with essential nutrients. For today's nut we have made a smart choice for you, and we explain what exactly makes nuts so healthy and which varieties you should grab.

Protein for More Beautiful Skin

Protein is not only something for muscle packages, which practically already lives in the gym, but belongs to everyone on the daily diet. Nuts are especially rich in protein - one reason why they are so healthy for us. Not only are they essential for building muscles, they also provide some firmness to the skin - and a firm skin usually has fewer wrinkles!

Not the fan of nuts? No problem, there always is the NAVI Revitalizing Hydro-Night Cream, which not only gives you a wonderful beauty sleep, but also lets you wake up visibly younger!

Fats? Yes, but unsaturated!

It is not exactly a well-kept secret that nuts are one thing above all else: fat. But then there is the big BUT that should not be overlooked: in contrast to finished products or junk food, the fat contained in the nut is one that is good for our body.

These are called monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fatty acids. For example, these fats help the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, and also have a positive effect on cholesterol levels. In addition, they keep the cell membranes stable and healthy, so that important nutrients can get inside the skin cell - which of course has a positive effect on your skin!

Which Nuts Should You Use?

The selection of nuts is truly considerable. You should of course resort to untreated nuts, which are not roasted with extra fat. But every nut naturally has a different composition - and thus another effect on the body and the skin.

Almonds, for example, help with weight loss because they reduce the appetite for carbohydrates. They strengthen the moisture content of the skin - strengthening the protective barrier of the skin and improving the regeneration of the cells.

Cashew nuts are rich in vitamin E, which is especially used for anti-ageing purposes in cosmetics. They reduce the premature ageing process of the skin - resulting in a beautiful, smooth skin.

But hazelnuts should not be underestimated either : In addition to healthy omega-6 fats, which are good for our heart, the vitamins of the hazelnut also prevents free radicals. These would only make themselves unpleasantly noticeable on our skin!

The macadamia nut could be considered as the perfect all-rounder for the skin: the natural protective function of the skin is strengthened and the unsaturated fatty acids of macadamia nut have a skin-tightening and regenerating effect on the skin.

Admittedly, it is often difficult to eat so many different nuts. That's why it's sometimes better, and easier, to pick only the essences that make your skin more beautiful and healthy.

Particularly suitable for this are the products of Doris Wagner Cosmetics. The NAVI Anti-Pollution Hydro-Day Cream combines the best of the coconut, as well as Vitamin E in itself - it also protects against the daily stress and the dirt, which is found in the cities so contrary.

But we also use the precious oil of macadamia nut in our NAVI Pore-Refining Hydro-Emulsion - not only significantly reduces pores, but also counteracts impure skin.

Just try it out and convince yourself of the products of Doris Wagner Cosmetics!

Guter Überblick. Ich liebe zum Glück alle Arten von Nüssen – mein Favorit ist und bleibt aber die Cashew-Nuss.
